We’ve partnered with the digital ordering system Yoello to provide an easy way for contact free ordering at restaurants, cafes and pubs, helping keep customers and staff safe and improve customer confidence.
We’re able to offer up to 50 restaurants in Bankside with 12 months free use of the system, and we’ll promote use of Yoello across our business and consumer marketing channels.
What is Yoello?
A mobile ordering solution where customers can order in your venue using their phone, or remotely for delivery/collection. Customers don’t need to download an app, they can use on their phones by either scanning QR codes to see your menu, ordering food and drink and paying on their phone. They’ll tell you their table number or when they want to collect (or even get it delivered if you want to offer that).
What are the benefits for me?
- Small transaction fees are all you would pay for 1 year (1.25% transaction fee)
- No need for physical menus
- Minimal contact from staff
- Facilitates payments
- Easy to set up
- FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) approved payment provider
- No need for customers to download an app
- Suitable for venues of all sizes
- Customers can order in venue or for collection/delivery
Getting set up
Register your business via Yoello’s Better Bankside sign up page here. We also recommend emailing Charlotte Stanley and Josephine Clarke at Better Bankside (contact details below) once you have registered too.
Yoello will then contact you to arrange all the details and start the onboarding process. This involves setting up your menu on the platform and creating metal plaques with QR codes for use at your tables. It takes approximately one week to get your listing live on Yoello once you’ve completed the onboarding process.
Please note, orders can be processed through any Android device, or businesses can choose to purchase a Yoello terminal for £199, however this is not essential.
